I am blessed with a precious family: a wonderful husband and two sweet kiddos that keep me running in circles, but happy just the same.

So why Ellison Lane? Well, Ellison is my daughter's middle name and a word that I think is just lovely. In my mind, Ellison Lane is a sunny, tree lined road leading up to a white vintage farm house with an aqua painted door. Think big shade trees with sunlight streaming through, flowers in bloom and a soft breeze whispering in your ear.
I am a self-taught sewist, in love with color, fabric and creating. I was the kid at summer camp that wanted to hang out in arts and crafts all day long.
I started Sew South, a modern sewing retreat in Charlotte, NC and our first year was a super awesome success. Can't wait for Sew South 2014!
