Quiet

It's been quiet around here for a change. Hope you're taking the time to rest up and enjoy the holidays too.

I've been hanging with the fam, trying my hand at creating some bag patterns and teaching myself through trial and error using a bunch of ugly fabric (which I am not showing you because my ugly fabric might be your favorite!- no judging here!)

For now, here's my evening project.

Pink daisy up next #gelpolish

A Christmas gift to myself- Sensationail. I love painted nails but am HARD on polish so this at home gel stuff is pretty great.  I did the red last week and it did chip on two nails but I think that was because I didn't paint the end of the nails as recommended. You really do have to follow the directions carefully but even then it was a win. Normal polish doesn't last 24 hours on my nails without chipping all over the place. (This gel stuff is kindof a $%*&! to take off though!)

Looking forward to seeing you all in 2013 and stepping things back up a bit!

Until then, enjoy the last bit of 2012.

All the best my friends!
xo,
Jenn

Oooh! I'd love to have one of these gel nail things! I am the same way with polish...it won't even stay on my nails 24 hours, either! Of course, the polish remover totally destroys my nails so I usually don't bother at all and when I do, I just get the gel polish put on at the salon.

Happy New Year Jennifer! I love to paint my nails and used to have them always painted. Now I don't have a patient for that. Your new system looks great! x Teje

Heh, my poor nails have enough problems without me painting them, especially when I'm climbing, but glad you're having fun!

Happy new year :o)

Happy New Year Jennifer!
I have tried to have painted nails but I like to get my hands dirty too much (digging in the dirt, etc) and it doesn't even last 24 hours. So ~ I gave up and just have plain nails. At least I don't bite them anymore!

I love this stuff! I need to redo mine ... I'm currently at 20 days on this manicure so they've grown out too much. But I do dishes everyday, give the dogs baths, and I quilted all weekend and they still look great. It's worth the hassle of removing the gel.
