Deck the Halls: Tutorials and Giveaways!



It's the most wonderful time of the year.... It's the hap, happiest season of all!
Can't you hear me singing? I'm definitely feeling the Christmas spirit and am so excited about this great holiday series I have coming your way.

8 fabulous friends have graciously joined me in putting together 9 festive tutorials, all ready to inspire you and help you Deck the Halls for the holidays.

I will be checking in each day during "Deck the Halls". In our household of many boys - the favorite Christmas movie is Polar Express - although my personal favorite might always be It's a Wonderful Life.

Woot! I'm number four, which has always been a nice number for me:D Looking forward to this hop, since I'm a better sewer this year so I have a better chance at being able to do the fab projects! I wish I could beam over a picture of the magical freezing fog we are having putside my window in Sweden right now. Festive!

I've never been a very big fan of holiday music or movies, but I do have one Christmas/winter album, Almost a Full Moon by Hawksley Workman, which I do really like. My favourite song might be Learn How to Knit, which is all about how he's going to knit his way to seeing his love over the holidays - "I'll knit you a sweater / I'll knit you a scarf / I'll knit a cigarette holder / I'll knit you an aeroplane to fly and meet me here / I'll knit you the nicest taxi cab to pick you up from the airport"

The first thing my daughter and I do is watch White Christmas, then it's officially the Christmas season. I also like Elf. And the cranks Christmas. And... :-). I like Dean Martin and Nat King Cole for Christmas songs. And felice navidas. Which hopefully is spelled close to correct. Love th picture you've used in this post, too.

My favorite Christmas song is from Clay Aiken's first Christmas album - Mary, Did you know?". It's in a minor key which is atypical for Christmas music but is very meaningful.
