Home Sweet New Home

We are finally settled in. Yay!
Thanks for being patient with me. I feel like I've been gone awhile.

I've still not perfected my sewing space and the house is not perfect yet but it is coming along. My type A personality doesn't want to show you the inside until it is "done" but I'll get my sewing space up and running to show you soon.

Until then, here's our new house. It's wonderful. Lots of natural light, more space, great yard, private back yard, and room for all the things we do:
room to sleep
room to play
room to eat together as a family
room to sew
room to work
It's so nice. We're all really happy here.

I've been sewing a bit this week but can't show the whole project just yet. Here's a sneak peek:

I do have some recent finishes (pre-move) that I will be showing you soon including a new paper piecing pattern. Yay!
Thanks for hanging in with me. I'll get back in my groove!
xo,
Jennifer

Beautiful house...beautiful quilt! Don't stress yourself out getting the house together. It took us so much longer than I expected to settle into our new home when we moved a few years back, and I about drove myself crazy trying to get it all done at once.

Jennifer, your home is gorgeous! We still don't have anything up on the walls and our office is nowhere near unpacked. Moving only takes a day, but putting together the inside of a home takes forever!

Congratulations on your new home - it's a very attractive house and I love the way you've described it -- room for life by the sound of things!

Congratulations on the new home! I’m sure the move was a little tiring, and that’s probably why it took a little longer than you would’ve liked to completely adjust and settle in. But it looks you and your family are already really enjoying the new place! That backyard is so spacious. I can think of a lot of things you can put there so you all can enjoy all that space!

Your house DOES look wonderful! I have a soft spot for the “brick home” appearance; I think it’s so charming and cozy. There’s definitely a lot of space on the outside for some quality family time as well. So glad to hear you’re all very happy there!
