Oh wow! Think of all the wonderful things I could make - I love that Dance with Me in pink! Maybe make my mom an apron :)
This mothers day will be really special because I am going to have my mother with me! She lives in FL and we haven't been able to visit since before my youngest was born, so this will be the first time she gets to see her youngest grandson (he's 16 months old!!!) Yay!

Mother's Day has already been here in England. I got breakfast in bed, lunch at a restaurant and chocolate muffins baked by my husband and three-year-old. Perfect!

For Mothers Day, I will enjoy breakfast in bed from my husband and two boys and enjoy being waited on hand and foot. All questions, needed, and wants from the boys will be directed towards dad. It will be my day off.

Beautiful fabric!
I'm almost done with a blanket for my mom - half fabric, half crochet. I took some fabric, made double-sided blocks, and I'm crocheting a border around each one. Takes awhile, but it's turning out perfect.

Incredible fun fabric! Mother's day will be a quiet family day - Sunday dinner and being together

I probably will be on the phone a lot with my daughters, who are scattered all over the country, and maybe get some sewing for myself finished up. :-)

Every year, there is a quilt show in Ottawa during mother's day weekend! What a good opportunity to treat my self with some fabric and to look at all the beautiful quilts, and also to spend time with quilting enthousiasts! I will also call my mother and spend time with my MIL. Looking forward to this busy week-end! On top of that, it would be nice to be the winner of this beautiful bundle! Thanks for this giveaway!

I would love to be in the mountains, instead will be spending it at home because of a dance recital (I love to watch the recital but would rather do it another weekend, seriously, Mother's Day weekend???)

This year for Mother's Day which is also my youngest daughters 20th birthday, we will be spending it together doing a little of this and a little of that. She says it is her day, I say it is mine, so we have to share again this year. She is getting married next month, so enjoy it while she is still my little girl. :D

Melinda said...

I don't really have any definite plans for Mother's Day but I sort of celebrated it already with my sis, mom and grandma. We all made a trip to the mountains together a few weeks ago which was nice and relaxing.

Lots of family around for Mother's day is the plan. My traveling 25-year old daughter will be home and since I haven't seen her in 8 months, I'm giddy with excitement.

I'm hoping that my husband and children will surprise me with a nice surprise outing- nothing too fancy, just quality family time!

for the last two years, my daughter's birth and 1st birthday have stolen my mother's day thunder. this year, they've landed a whopping 5 days apart, so maybe i can retrieve some of my thunder.... but, i don't actually have anything special planned. maybe i can talk my husband into taken the two rascals to the park for a couple of hours, while i read or sleep or watch a movie or some such alonetime event...

anyhooo... thanks for the chance to win! :)

Too far away from my mother or kids to see any of them, but my dear husband is wonderful company. :) We won't eat out; everything's too crowded. But this wonderful fabric would make any day special indeed!

It's a tradition for my daughter and I to walk the Breast Cancer Walk in memory of my Mom and to honor close friends. Then on to breakfast and kids grilling the dinner. Perfect day!

I'm planning on a quiet day - church and no cooking. I hope to tag up with my faraway kids and grandkids via phone.

Sadly, I never had the pleasure of being a Mother, so I love mine just that little bit more. We celebrate in style and don't restrict it to only one day. My Mum is in her 80's, and we make the most of any time we get together. We go to Art Galleries, shows and out for lunch and dinner as much as she can handle. Keeps her young I reckon!

What a great giveaway!

We'll be doing our Mother's Day stuff on Saturday because my husband works on Sundays -- but that's okay, because those of us who have a lot more driving to do to get to Party Central (my folk's house) will appreciate having a day to recuperate! :)

We've already had mothers day here! It was lovely, it was the first one DS really understood, so when he woke up early in the morning he woke up daddy because it was "mummys special day." Now that's my luxury, an extra hour in bed!

I am spending the weekend at a Quilt Retreat at Ranch A in beautiful Wyoming. On Saturday I will take the short drive to visit my mom in the nursing home where she has been for the last 2 years. She will be 90 in August.

wow- that is such a generous giveaway, thank you for the chance to participate as an international follower!
As you may know, Mother's Day is on different dates in different countries...but my mum used to live in the States and I used to live in the UK so we have come to an agreement to have both- and the German mothering Sunday as well- because, as my mum tells me- I had the energy level of three kids, so she really does deserve three days to compensate! I'll take her out for ice cream, as spring has finally arrived here too:)

WIll be home tending my new veggie garden, like any other Sunday. Those fabrics are gorgeous, and so very suitable for the pillow cases we make for the Childrens Hospital. I love the Out Of Print one.

Awesome giveaway!

The husband's mum passed away last month and in her will she left money for all her kids, grandkids and great grandkids to go on vacation together to hawaii. So I think mother's day would be the perfect time to get together with his sister and do some planning!

I will be spending a long weekend with my daughter. She has lots of fun things planned for us to do. We always have so much fun when we are together. I will call my Mom sine I won't see her on that day. I will see Mom on her 85th birthday on the 9th.

Great fabrics!! How fun! Usually I make dinner for my Mom & Dad and my MIL and any of our 4 kids and families that can come home. This year may be different due to new granddaughters arrival 2 weeks early, and celebrating our grandson's 4th birthday the day before. Not sure yet what our plans are this year. nloge16@gmaildotcom
