A while back, Candice of
Squirmy Worm Studio asked me if I'd like to host a giveaway for one of her patterns on my blog. "Well sure," I said. :) "Sounds fun!"
And sweet as she is, she popped her cute diaper wristlet pattern in the mail for me quick as could be.
Now, I wish I could say I was half as quick as her PDF and her shipping but alas time got away from me and only last week did I have the chance to make her cute clutch. If only I had known how quickly it would come together, I would have never waited so long!
It turned out super cute and is already a great organizer in my tote/purse. Plus it hardly took any time at all to put it together.
Do you know anybody having a baby? This would be a super cute gift, especially if you wrapped it with diapers, cream and wipes. Or better yet, make one for yourself like I did!

I'd make it for my cousin who called me TODAY that she is pregnant. It would be a long time before she'll know if it's a boy or girl, so I might just make one in the blue floral Farmdale fabric she likes so much. That could really go either way and besides she'll be wearing it. Thanks!

I know 2 people who are pregnant at the moment, but I'm not sure either would utilise this, but I would, it would be great for all my bits and pieces that float around in my purse loose (read messy).

My best friend is a few weeks away from having her fifth child, so I'd make it for her.
So hard to pic who I would make this for! A friend of mine just had a baby a month ago (#2), I have a few friends trying for number 2, and a friend that is trying for number 1. But then, I have my little man and he is not ready for potty training yet so I might be selfish and make one for myself, (course who is to say I wont make more than one?) :)
I just had a little boy so I'd definitely make one for myself. Plus, my sister, sister-in-law, and five friends are due with babies this summer so I'd be making lots of them. :)

I would totally make this for myself! Despite having full sized diaper bags stowed everywhere, sometimes I just don't want to lug them into every place I visit. I mean most of the time, you just need one diaper and a couple of wipes, right?

I have a friend visit two nights ago... she had to leave suddenly as the contractions where coming pretty hard and fast however nothing has eventuated YET... so perhaps I could get in a quick one of these before her bub arrives

That is such a cute idea. The very first one I'd make would be for my DIL in her favorite colors. Then I think maybe I'd also make one for my son in MANLY colors so he could run quick errands and not need to carry the entire diaper bag in the girlie colors. They are the proud parents of our 3rd Grandchild, an adorable little girl who is now 2 1/2 months old.

What a nice giveaway. I'd make it for my niece, who has two little ones still in diapers. I haven't gotten their quilts done yet, so it would be good to start and finish something for her in the meantime.
