Sew-Along Wiksten Tunic

I've been wanting to try my hand at garment sewing for a while now and at the top of my to-do list has been a dress for my daughter and a tunic for me.

Today, I discovered that the every popular Wiksten Tova Tunic is now available for a PDF download. Well, it took me about 5 minutes to decide to take the plunge and order it. The $10 price is easier on the wallet than the $30 snail mail pattern plus the PDF includes all sizes. Yay!

So then I was cruising through my blog reader and what do you know, Kerry is hosting a Sew-Along for the Wiksten Tova Tunic!

Meant-to-be? Yes indeed! So are you going to join in too? You can get the Tova pattern online here.

Now, off to find the perfect dress pattern for my little girl. Has to be twirly and has to fit a 4T because y'all, she's tall!

xo,
Jennifer

Yeah! Thanks so much for the heads up about the PDF! I've resisted buying this because of the price tag, but it's been delivered even as I type this comment! I will be sewing along!

Enjoy! As I just said on Kerry's blog, I'd looking like a walking potato sack in this (it's me, not the pattern) but I'm sure you'll look fab, so I shall sit back and admire!

Katy and I could be twins. Unfortunately I would look terrible in this, me not the pattern. I used to sew my own clothing years ago, but find it easier to find something to fit, off the rack, these days.
I'll be sitting on the sidelines and enjoying all the beautiful versions that will be made.

Oh yeah, I'm in!! Here's an etsy seller pattern that I LOVE - made it last year and my little still adores twirling in it!! It makes the biggest twirl ever and can be any length you need! So super easy too :)
