Thanks for the ♥

Thank you all SO much for your awesome words of encouragement and tips about FMQ. I totally felt the ♥ from you, and it made me feel so much better about my attempts.

I will be jumping back in and giving it another try this week.   I'll be keeping all of your sage advice under my wing and see how it goes. :) Don't worry, I'll let you know!

We took a little visit to local farm this weekend and checked out the pumpkin patch, the petting zoo and took a hay ride.

Fabulous fall day.

Perfect for pumpkins.

Only two days left for our 12 Gifts of Christmas Blog Hop. I hope you're taking time to visit everyone's fabulous tutorials, not to mention the fun giveaways!

Be sure to pop over to see Amanda at A Crafty Fox today. She has a super cute tutorial perfect for everyone in the family as well as a generous gift certificate to her adorable fabric shop, Westwood Acres.

Looks like the visit to the pumpkin patch was just what was needed after the FMQ day. :) I checked out the lunch bag today and loved the recycling of those plastic bags into it. Don't have anyone to make a lunch bag for but the concept is stored - hmmmm, diaper bag...the inside of my pen/pencil container...

OH, I remember days when we took our kids to the pumpkin patch. Maybe one day we will have grandchildren to take the patch. Sweet children.

Glad to hear you will be climbing right back on that FMQ horse! I'm so glad we got to practice together at Summit! And your little ones are precious - that goes without saying :).

I was out of town this weekend, so I missed your FMQ post until now, but I'm right there with you! Just keep going! Also, since I"m not an expert, I can't say for sure if this is true, but I've always been told that washing/drying the quilt hides a LOT of mistakes, so there's always that. I think the variegated thread you used is really fun!

I'm glad you had good family time at the pumpking patch. Your daughter looks so much like you!

Looks like a fun day at the patch, and with sun too (I vaguely remember what that looks like...)
