Across the Sea Quilt-Along & Sew Fresh Fabrics

We are 4 weeks into our Across the Sea Quilt-Along, and it's so much fun!

If you've missed any of the posts, you can find them here.

Everybody is making great progress.
Pop over to our Flickr group and check out everybody's work. I love the variety!

Next week Sarah will post directions on cutting the fabric for the back. Having the back designed as well as the front makes this quilt a two-for-one!

Remember, those of you that finish and post your completed quilts to our Flickr group by October 3 will be in the running to win one of two gift certificates to Sew Fresh Fabrics. Peg and Becca have graciously sponsored our Quilt-Along, and I am thrilled to announce that they are Ellison Lane Quilts' newest sponsor too!

Sew Fresh Fabrics has such an awesome selection of fabrics including this Free Spirit solids bundle I have my eye on.
Check out these darling new prints from Alexander Henry:
Aren't the peas adorable?
Such a great stripe
Did you know they carry some great Japanese fabrics too? This patchwork Echino print is one of my all time faves.

Peg and Becca are so accommodating too.  They'll put together a custom order for you in a heartbeat and will ship it out lickety split. They really are wonderful to work with. You should most definitely check them out!

Hope you have a great rest of your week- happy sewing!

Yummy fabrics.

If you do two quilts is that two entries? And will variations be included? Just so I know! A deadline sure helps me to finish!

The solids bundle is lovely - although I'm not joining in the QAL I'm enjoying seeing what other people make!

I just popped over to check out the Flickr pool. I love seeing all the different color and fabric combinations that people have come up with. I am adding this to the list of quilts I will hopefully get around to making someday. Love it!

Love your quilt. I hope to find time to make one with some new fabric I got.
