Fabric for Boys 2

Blue, green, orange, and chocolate brown.
Traditional colors done in a modern way.

I finished this toddler/baby quilt yesterday.
It's a generous size and would make a great lap quilt.

I came across these Metro Living fabrics by Robert Kauffman and knew they would be perfect for a boy quilt. Actually I think they would be great for a boy of any age, 4 or 40.

Straight and diagonal line quilting seemed to suit the blocks.

I like the symmetry of this quilt and the simplicity of the blocks.
I think they really showcase the fabric.

The back and binding are chocolate brown metro living circles.

Quite handsome, don't you think?

What's your favorite fabric to use when you make a quilt for boys?

Quite handsome! Sadly, I haven't made a quilt for boys yet. But I do love Joel Dewberry's geometric prints.

This is my favorite Robert Kaufman line! Love seeing it in a quilt!
