Beautiful weather and wonky log cabins

Yesterday was another beautiful day.
My mom would call it a Chamber of Commerce day.

We spent some family time outside.  That's the surprise quilt I made for my husband this past Christmas.  Lots of secret sewing for that one!

The best part of quilting is using the beautiful things I've made, everyday.

I cut into my stack of solids.

These kept me busy.

Wonky log cabins. They're fun, and I am digging the improv piecing.
I finished four- five more to go...

I finished another baby boy quilt.

And I put a serious dent in my Central Park stash.

But I am loving this one too- more log cabins. I'm finding them rather liberating.

Hope you had a great day!

I love your log cabins too! I can't wait to see that solid quilt. That's my kind of color scheme. I'll have to try some log cabins.
